Mehdi Zhar is a Professor and Researcher at Ibn Tofaïl University in Kenitra, Morocco. He is the Coordinator of the Sound Engineering and Interactive Music Program at the Center of Excellence in Digital Design and Arts. He is also a member of the “AI, Digital Creations, and Video Games” research team within the Laboratory of Literature, Arts, and Educational Engineering.
He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence for the Arts, interactive music, sound engineering, and digital media. His work focuses on the integration of intelligent systems and emerging technologies into artistic creation, education, and cultural innovation.
Alongside his academic activities, he is a musician and sound practitioner specializing in digital audio production and interactive music technologies.
